This is a wood framed hour glass sand timer which now runs about 50 minutes. The lines have been restored and one spindle has been replaced. It fits very nicely in the repainted tin case, which may be original to it. Case, 7 1/2 in. x 4 1/4 in. diameter. Timer, 6 1/2 in. high. Early 19th C.
