A very lovely and quite elaborate antique sterling silver Nantucket souvenir spoon. Made by the Alvin Company of New York, ca. 1892, it is embossed with the Old Mill, Unitarian Church, Sankoty and "NANTUCKET MASS" on the handle and the oldest house, titled "COFFYN - HOUSE 1686" in the bowl. Marked STERLING on the back with the Alvin hallmark. 6 in. long. In beautiful condition.
