14521 Nantucket Island map by Alexander Dumas, 1935. This very decorative print with original hand coloring of a whimsical pictorial map shows Nantucket, Tuckernuck, the Gravel Islands and Muskeget. Various island ponds and areas are named, as are the harbors and lighthouse locations. Distances of the island from New Bedford and Philadelphia are noted. Slight staining on the right quarter and light crease marks. Archivally framed. 15 3/4 in. x 21 1/4 in., sight.

Accompanying this map is the original cardboard tube in which it was mailed from Massachusetts to California in the 1930’s.
